The Untold Story of Ravenswood Manor PT 29

At The Gates of Fort Comstock, The 1st Militia formed ranks and readied themselves. Sergeant Porter's troops manned the gates with their weapons locked and loaded. General Lyons turned his head to his men and his friends.

General Lyons: Listen up guys, things might be quiet now, but keep your guard up; who know what is out there.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Private Desean A. Jackson and few others gently pushed on the gates and moved back with the others. The Jedi ignited their lightsabers and prepared their selves. General Lyons brandish his sword and pointed his sword at The Ravenswood Manor. And, altogether, the 1st Militia slowly moved towards The Ravenswood Estate. As they venture forward, They felt an icy chill around them. The fog hung around the town and the manor, it seems Death had sat at meditating on the threshold. As they reached the gates, They heard the sound of somebody moving. The 1st Militia halted and stayed where they are. Through the fog are figures moving towards them, and it appears one of them is carrying someone or something. The 1st Militia leveled their rifles.
General Lyons: Hold your fire.
The 1st Militia held their fire. There, emerging from the foggy grounds of Ravenswood Manor, is General Elkins, The Ghost Company, Ghost Rider and General Gracey, carrying the unconscious Melanie Ravenswood. General Lyons walked over to General Gracey.
General Lyons: Edward, what happened to her?
General Gracey: She fainted after all she had seen.
General Lyons: And Henry? What happened to him?
General Elkins: Our boys defeated him with all of our might, Henry split in two and we send him to Hell.
General Lincoln: What do you mean by "Split"?
General Elkins: The Phantom, after Henry died in 1860, possessed his body. Using it as a vessel and conjuring his demonic minions and friends from Hell to the manor after Jake didn't show.  Mr. Blaze used his chains and split Henry in two, separating him from The Phantom. Mr. Blaze pulled The Phantom over to him with his chains and threw The Phantom to Hell to be punished for eternity.
Union Colonel Lyons I: So...it's over?
Before anyone could answer, Melanie came to. General Gracey puts down Melanie up against a tree. Everyone was relief; but it was short lived.
Melanie (Weak) : Father......
Then, They heard the doors of Ravenswood Manor opening up. There, standing there in the door, is a silhouette of a cloak man wearing a top hat. They heard a voice coming from the silhouette, a voice that is familiar to them.
Mr. Ravenswood: Melanie.......
Anko: It's Henry Ravenswood!
Harvey Bentley (Angry) : Hey! Go back to Hell, murderer!
There was no reply. Mr. Ravenswood began it's descend towards The 1st Militia. Harvey cocked his weapon and aimed at Mr. Ravenswood.
Harvey Bentley (Angry) : I said "Leave us be", you BASTARD!!!!
Sakura: Ready your weapons and take aim!
Shouting in agreement, Some of the troops readied their rifles and aimed at Mr. Ravenswood. Lady Tsunade stepped in front of them with her back to them. The 1st Militia shouted at her to move, so they can get a clear shot. But she stood there. She extended her arms sideways, with her heads back to them.
Lady Tsunade: HOLD!!!
The 1st Militia was confused by what she said, but General Lyons can tell. Mr. Ravenswood was too weak to do anything else, after what did while being under The Phantom's control. He felt like he had the wind knocked out of him. He stopped at the bottom step and stared sadly at The 1st Militia and General Gracey's Unit.
Mr. Ravenswood: I never wanted this......I never meant to hurt anyone; I just wanted to make Melanie happy.
Naruto soon stepped forward and angrily stared at Mr. Ravenswood.
Naruto (Angry) : Yeah....well, maybe you should have thought of that before you killed her lover, jerk!
Everyone shouted in agreement. They were angry with Mr. Ravenswood for what he said and what he did not only to them, but to Melanie.
Jay: If you truly care for your daughter, then you shouldn't have put her through Hell like that. That, sir, is bad parenting.
Mr. Ravenswood knew Jay was right. He had made mistakes like these before; now, he must make things right. He walked over to Melanie and took a knee.
Mr. Ravenswood: Melanie......my daughter; I am SOO sorry.....about everything. I just wanted to make you happy here. I never what wanted for you to suffer and be in pain. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
Melanie (on the verge of tears) : Oh....father.

Melanie threw herself at her father, hugging him. Mr. Ravenswood was stunned by this and, feeling the light inside him, hugged her daughter. Then, Jay felt a presence up ahead. He ignited his lightsaber and prepared himself. Everyone became confused and then look where is Jay is looking. There, making it's way down, was an orb. It was floating towards 1st Pennsylvania. The Clones leveled their blasters and aimed it at The orb. But, Lieutenant Ise stood in front of them. she told them to lower your blasters. The Clones did and watched as The orb floated towards them and stopped in front of them. The orb glows brighter and disappeared into thin air. They stood there, wondering where did the orb go. Before they could get any answers, a light shined from above. A portal to Heaven opened up. There were clouds surrounding the patrol and bright light in the middle. Everyone was amazed by what they are seeing. Jay looks at the light and sees a white silhouette coming down from above. Everyone moves towards the other side as the silhouette takes shape and reveals to be the spirit of Jake Lockhart.
Melanie: Jake, is that you?
Jake: Yes, my love; it is I. The truth had to be known in order for me to be released from The Phantom's curse. They saved me.
General Lyons: It was nothing, really.
Melanie: Oh, Jake.
Jake (walking to Melanie): Yes, my darling?
Melanie: I have waited so long for this moment in all of my life.
Jake: And now only heaven awaits us.
Melanie and Jake kissed after so long. To everyone, it is a heartwarming event. Private Henry F. Barnum shed a tear, but quickly wiped it away. Union Colonel Lyons I notice Shizune over there looking at Melanie and Jake kissing. Then, Union Colonel Lyons I remember something.
Union Colonel Lyons I: Wait, you may need this.
Union Colonel Lyons I pulled out a ring case, containing the ring for Melanie. He presented to the both of them.He explained to the both of them that he found it at The Grand Staircase. Melanie was astonished but, Melanie takes Union Colonel Lyons I's hand and covers the ring case. Union Colonel Lyons I was confused but, he looked up and finds Melanie smiles at him.
Melanie: Colonel....you keep it; Give that ring to someone you love in yourself.
Union Colonel Lyons I was surprised. He quickly looked at the case and then back to Melanie. He took off his Kepi nodded his head.
Union Colonel Lyons I: Thank you, ma'am; I will.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ravenswood walked over to General Lyons and General Lincoln.
Mr. Ravenswood: Mr. Lyons, Can you ever forgive me....for what you and other went through?
General Lyons: Sure, what's to forgive? let's let bygones be bygones
Mr. Ravenswood (Handing General Lyons a scrolls): Here; take these.
General Lyons (Grabs the scrolls): What is it?
Mr. Ravenswood: The deeds to Ravenswood Manor and Thunder Mesa. They are yours. Do what what ever you want with them. Sell them or keep them. Do whatever makes you, your friends and your family happy; And thank you. Thank you all so much.
Mr. Ravenswood huddles together with Melanie, General Gracey and Jake, and together, ascended to the heavens and moved to the afterlife. Everyone watched as General Gracey, Mr. Ravenswood, Melanie and her beloved passed on from this world to the next. Then It was General Elkins and his unit's turn to move on but not before saying farewell.
General Elkins: Well....I think this is good bye, sir. Thank you....for everything.
General Lyons: No problem, General.

General Elkins extended his hand and General Lyons extended his hand. They both shook hands and bravely saluted to General Lyons. General Lyons saluted to General Elkins in return. General Elkins and his unit moved out, and all together, ascended to Heaven. Then, all around the town, orbs ascending to Heaven. At long last, they were free from The Phantom’s Curse. Then, The Heaven's Portal closed and vanished into thin air. At last, Madame Leota spoke.
Madame Leota: Angels are in heaven and they are together at long last. This dreadful and dark tale is well ended for those who have passed on from this world. Love endures all, for what; there are no reasons and no rhyme. It lasts forever and forever all time.
The 1st Militia could agree to that. Then, Union Colonel Lyons I walks over to Tsunade. He want to ask Shizune a very important question.
Union Colonel Lyons I: Lady Hokage....with you permission.....I would like to.....
Lady Tsunade rose her hand to quickly interrupted Union Colonel Lyons I. Then, Lady Tsunade showed a smile to Union Colonel Lyons I as she slowly lowered her hand.
Lady Tsunade: Go to her, Colonel; You have my permission.
Union Colonel Lyons I: Tha.....Thank you, ma'am.
Union Colonel Lyons I respectfully bowed to Lady Tsunade and walked towards Shizune.
Hey…Uh, Shizune? Listening….Uh, From the moment I made you, I thought you are the most beautiful woman I ever did. And now....I want to spend the rest of my days with you.
Then, Union Colonel Lyons took a knee, presenting Shizune the ring case. Shizune became astonished.
Union Colonel Lyons I: I know....that you think it's weird.....Kneeling before, is once a war weary veteran from The Union Army of The Potomac, Who enlisted in The 96th Infantry Regiment from Pennsylvania and then transferred to 100th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment, who endured hardship and was shot in battle during The Battle of Chancellorsville. I....I know I'm bad at this but.....will you.....will...you.
Shizune (Quick interrupted): Yes.
Union Colonel Lyons I quickly looked up at Shizune, who was smiled.
Shizune: Yes....Of course, I'll marry you, Johnathon.
The 1st Militia looked at each other in shock. Union Colonel Lyons asking Shizune to marry him. Then, Union Colonel Lyons I rose to his feet in great delight.
Union Colonel Lyons I: By thunder, you made me The Happiest Man in The World.
Union Colonel Lyons placed the ring on Shizune's finger and they kissed.
Private Peter M. Jackson (Happy) : Three Cheers for The Newly Couple!!!
Everyone let off a three cheers to Union Colonel Lyons I and Shizune. Then, General Lyons spoke. He had something important to say to Union Colonel Lyons I.

General Lyons: Johnathon....This militia was formed a promise support, protect and defend The U.S. Constitution and those who can't defend themselves; and you have done that. I heard of you performance of keep cool under fire and in The Face of The Enemy. Therefore, in recognition of initiative taken not only for yourself......but on behalf of the entire militia......you are hereby awarded the rank of Brigadier General.
Union Colonel Lyons I was astonished by this promotion from General Lyons. The Boys broke out in cheer and picks Union Colonel Lyons I, Now Brigadier General Lyons, and Shizune up on their shoulders. General Lyons flashed a smirk and nodded his head sideways in a joking matter. Then, he called everyone to attention. The militia hushed and stared at The General.
General Lyons: Listen up guys; We'll going to stay here for another day, do one more sweep of the area and head on home. We'll pay our respects to The Ravenswood Family and The Texas Brigade; understood.
1st Militia: Sir, yes sir!

The militia went to Fort Comstock to sleep in The Soldier Barracks. They have a big day tomorrow, now knowing that the curse is over and those who were trapped here have passed on from this world.
